The Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment on the International Space Station, known as SAGE III on ISS, was conceived and completed at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. On Thursday, Nov. 19, the instrument was packed up, loaded and shipped to Kennedy Space Center in Florida where it's scheduled to launch to the space station in 2016. The instrument is designed to measure ozone, gasses and dust in Earth's upper atmosphere. (Video by NASA/Rob Lorkiewicz and Gary Banziger)
